Hot Honey Vinegar BBQ Sauce

This bold, sweet-heat BBQ sauce is a flavor bomb in a bowl. Ingredients

  • ¾ cup ketchup

  • ½ cup Hot Honey Vinegar

  • ½ cup molasses or brown sugar

  • 1 tsp liquid smoke

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together all ingredients until smooth and fully combined.

  2. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. Simmer for 20 minutes, until slightly thickened and glossy.

  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before using. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.

  5. Use immediately, or let cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Serving Ideas

  • Brush over grilled or baked chicken, ribs, or brisket
